More officers have been dispatched at businessman Jimi Wanjigi's home in Muthaiga to arrest him.

Among those who have entered the compound are crime busters armed with sledge hammers.

The businessman locked himself in the house yesterday to avoid arrest after police officers allegedly recovered a cache of weapons at his house in Malindi.

GSU officers spent the night at his home in Muthaiga but Jimi did not come out.

It is still also unclear if the controversial businessman is in the house.
