Talking about what brought his downfall in music, Jimwat said that his life got affected so much by alcoholism.He even went ahead to warn his fellow youth on the negative effects of alcoholism.He tried to explain about his new chapter of life four years down the line since fighting drug addiction and thank God for it since he is better now.

Asked by Rashid Abdalla about his beef with King Kaka, James Mburu or Jimwat as known to his fans did not hesitate to admit that they are still not in good terms with the Kaka Empire pioneer, King Kaka. Jimwat agreed that it is true they still have beef. He explained that their beef came about after Jimwat turned him down after he reached to him for a collaboration when King Kaka was an upcoming artist.

The 32-year-old once again talked about how he turned King Kaka down for a collaboration. In fact, Jimwat said that indeed Kaka approached him back then when he was in his pick but downed him down through conditions and demands that Kaka could not afford.
