Former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo has asked Kenyans to remain patient and allow President Uhuru Kenyatta to complete the constitution of his cabinet.
Jirongo, who vied for the country's top seat during the August 8 general election, said it was too early to criticize President Kenyatta's partial cabinet which he unveiled on Friday.
Speaking in Eldoret town on Saturday, Jirongo said the President together with his deputy William Ruto know very well the kind of people they want to be part of their cabinet.
"They know the desires of the Kenyan people and in my view, I believe they will come up with a team that will deliver," noted the former MP of Lugari.
"Given that this is President Kenyatta's final term, this is the time he will work on his legacy and he needs an effective team which he knows the kind of people that will do that," he added.
Jirongo further said it was too early to start judging whether the cabinet has the face of Kenya.
"Let us allow the entire team to be in place before we start looking at whether all communities and regions have been represented or not," he said.
