Cyrus Jirongo addressing the press in Eldoret town Saturday, January 6, 2018[Photo: The standard digital].Former presidential candidate Cyrus Jirongo has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to dialogue with opposition chief Raila Odinga.He said the country was badly divided and only dialogue can save the country."I want to urge President Uhuru Kenyatta to swallow his pride with the opposition leader, he should not sit in state house thinking everything is okay, things are not good out here since he is leading half of the country," he said in Eldoret town, Saturday."For heaven sake dialogue will cost him nothing, he should just listen to him and who knows he might have good ideas to take the country forward," he added. He, however, urged president Uhuru Kenyatta to reach out to all Kenyans who did not vote for him. "This will make them feel part of his government and also enhance the healing process thus reduce the division that is being witnessed in the country. I call upon leaders to put aside their political differences and work together to improve the lives of Kenyans," noted Jirongo.
