It's official now: Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology will play host to the National Biosecurity Workshop tomorrow, January 15.This is thanks to the partnership between the National Commission for Science Technolgy and the Commission for University Technology.Participants will have the opportunity to broach issues and trends in the biochemistry industry.''The workshop comes in the context of growing terrorist threats and there is a need for forums in which these threats can be discussed and remedies explored,'' a statement from the organisers reads in part.
Kenya continues to grapple with multiple threats to its stability and security, threats that the seminar will seek to unravel.
