To be honest, pretty grades give someone an upper hand in the job search.
However, it is only if they can do a better job than you.
The trick is to be the best in practical skills.
The job market prefers the one who does a better job.
The one who gets the job done, and done meticulously, is the one who gets the pay cheque. Try to master different skills.
In case the job search proves cruel, being good at different things increases your odds of landing on a job.
Even better, you could do different jobs with the different skills.
Even if they do not pay much, the total pay of the hustles could prove sufficient.
That is why it is advised to get involved in many activities. Co-curricular activities build you up. Do not forget to work your talents.
They have had even school drop-outs hire professors.
My point is, poor grades should not spell doom on your dreams.
