[Photo: judiciary.go.ke]European Members of Parliament Election Observer Team, has met Chief Justice David Maraga, and other judicial officers, ahead of Tuesday polls.
Led by former US Secretary of State John Kerry, the team paid a courtesy call at Supreme Court, Nairobi, Monday, where they interacted, and held a photo session.
Kerry expressed confidence in the electoral body, IEBC, saying he was happy with its preparedness.
He said the observers are in the country, to help Kenya raise once again, through a free, fair and credible poll.
"We are here to support Kenyan confidence in all the institutions. It is up to Kenyans to make a choice which can only be achieved in a free, fair and transparent election process," Kerry said, and praised the Judiciary for handling party primaries cases, after the April nominations.
Also present was former Senegalese Prime Minister Aminata Toure, who said all African countries were watching the Kenyan election process.
