Kerry who was among the international observer during the August 8, polls took time to lecture Kenyan leaders who lost in the polls but was met with resistance from a section of Kenyans online.

"All the people of Kenya are in my thoughts. I urge all to address all complaints through the courts and for police to allow for peaceful protest," he said in an online post.

Disgruntled Kenyans led by Nairobi Woman Rep-elect Esther Passaris took offfense with Kerry's word and a bitter online exchange of words ensued.
