[Photo| the-star]Suba South MP John Mbadi has said he does not regret being kicked out of parliament proceedings. The ODM legislator who is also the National Assembly Minority leader was ordered out of the assembly by the National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi for refusing to withdraw a statement, that Kenya has no president. However in an interview with Kahawa shortly after being thrown out of the house, Mbadi said that he cannot retract his statement as that would mean he acknowledges Uhuru Kenyatta as President.“I had important motions to second in the house and it was pertinent that I be in the assembly today but then gain, I could not be coaxed into accepting Uhuru is the legitimately elected President when I hold an otherwise conviction,” said Mbadi. A section of the opposition leaders have insisted that Uhuru was illegitimately elected and that they will not recognise him as president.
