Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has yet again thrown a bombshell on Jubilee administration, accusing it of sideling regions that are anti-Jubilee.
The outspoken Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Deputy Party leader has been in logger heads with Jubilee top brass in the recent weeks with DP William Ruto being his prime target.
On Sunday, Joho accused the government of faulting the constitution by sidelining regions that were perceived to be unfriendly to government.
“The constitution is very clear that the government should develop our regions without prejudices. However, what we are seeing is continuous sidelining of some regions on ground that they support a certain political party,” he said.
“All regions have a right to be served without prejudices and that is what the constitution says. Jubilee should wake up and drop retrogressive politics of seclusion,” he added.
He identified Coastal, Nyanza and Western regions as targets by the government adding that even leaders from the regions were being overlooked.
