As you grow up, there are things that you desire at a tender age.
Parents also have personal aspirations concerning their children.
However, these childhood dreams are rarely accomplished.
Many end up becoming people they never wished to but Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is among the lucky few.
The governor says that Allah has granted him everything he wished for while growing up.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy party leader has established himself as a force to reckon with financially and politically.
He said Jubilee does not have the capacity to buy him.
The coastal front man explained how Allah has been merciful to him.
Speaking during a radio interview Joho said, “I am on another level. Do not compare me with people who can be easily swayed with small amounts of money. I live a comfortable life and I have everything I wished for when I was growing up. I need nothing more.”
The county boss said he can never sell his freedom for political loyalty.
He said development is a right that all Kenyans are entitled to and should not be used to sway their political affiliations.
The governor said that it is not mandatory for him to be in the same party with the president for him to continue his development agenda, and also advised Deputy President William Ruto to rethink his 2022 political ambitions.
“Opposition leader Raila Odinga will take over next year, and I will be taking over in 2022,” declared Joho.
