Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho on Saturday renewed his onslaught against the Jubilee adminstration, urging Kenyans to vote it out during the forthcoming general elections.

Speaking in Kakamega's Bukhungu Stadium, the ODM Deputy Party leader accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of overseeing runaway corruption in his administration, adding that the Jubilee Party presidential candidate is unfit for presidency.

“I am not opposed to the development project that is SGR. However, my concern is its inflated cost. We would have saved Ksh 100 billion had the project been initiated by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka had they formed government in 2013,” he said.

“These guys’ plan is to continue impoverishing Kenyans so that the citizens remain dependent on them –eternally. This time round, we will vote for Raila Odinga. I assure Kenyan Coast inhabitants that the management of the Port of Mombasa will be given back to them," he added.

He further drummed up support for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.

“Kakamega people, I urge you to vote for Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka on August 8 so that we can stop Uhuru and (DP) Ruto from looting our country,” he said.

The outspoken county chief has been a fierce critic of President Kenyatta's administration.
