Speaking during an opposition rally in Narok, Joho took a swipe at the Deputy President following the recent cases of Cholera that were reported at Weston hotel, which is associated with Ruto.

"Huyo jamaa anaitwa arap Kipindupindu. Huu ugonjwa wa kipindupindu unaosambazwa kwa hoteli moja Nairobi tunatahadhari kwamba unasambaza kwa hoteli zingine Nairobi na Mombasa ambazo umenunua kwa njia ambayo hatuelewi," said Joho, as quoted by The Star.

Joho has in the past accused Ruto of grabbing land in different parts of the nation, claims the deputy President has denied.

The county boss, who is Raila Odinga’s strong supporter vowed to rally the electorate behind the NASA coalition to ensure they unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.

The vocal governor also asked Ruto to explain the source of the money he used to purchase his choppers.

“The planes we have landed with here today are either given to us by our loyal supporters, or we have leased them. I want to challenge Ruto to tell us the source of his helicopters,” added Joho.
