Embattled Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta blaming him on his woes.

He spoke after recording a statement at the Mombasa DCI headquarters over alleged forgery of academic papers.

Joho told his supporters that he will take the fight to Uhuru's doorstep.

"We told you that after Coast tours, we will take the fight to the door step. Tomorrow we are in Kibra near their homes,"

" the governor said.

Joho was accompanied by lawyer James Orengo together with several Opposition leaders from the coast.
