Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant Suleiman Shahbal has indicated that there is a huge leadership vacuum in the County.
He said area governor Ali Hassan Joho had failed residents ever since he assumed office, and that it was time for change.
''There is a huge leadership vacuum in Mombasa County; lets fill it with a qualified and competent person who has the imagination and character to turn around the lives of our people,'' said the Jubilee allied politician.
In what seemed to be an indirect 'attack' to Joho, Shahbal asked electorates to be careful, not to elect either a juvenile cry baby, party loving and attention seeking or a respectful leader.
''The choice for the great people of Mombasa in the gubernatorial race is becoming clearer by the day. Either a juvenile cry baby, party loving and attention seeking or a respectful leader that can be trusted to deliver quality services as required by the people,'' said the businessman.
"We can't afford to gamble in 2017 and just hope for the best, we will lose another 5 more years,'' he added.
