Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has dismissed the recent political rise of Governor Hassan Joho as mere creation of the media.
Omar said the situation on the ground is not as the media portrays it, adding that Joho will face defeat as early as 8am in the morning.
Omar who was addressing journalists on Monday after having led a delegation of Coast Wiper MPs in hosting the party's leader Kalonzo Musyoka over the weekend, said it was not going to be business as usual in the county as many things had gone astray.
“We will not continue to sit back and allow Joho to take this county for a ride. His only achievement is bringing celebrities in the county. He had Ali Kiba, Diamond and now Chris Brown, and he is using millions of tax payers money to do this nonsense,” said Omar.
Omar who is the Wiper Party secretary general has now vowed to unseat Joho and become the county’s next boss.
