The budget that has been approved is Sh3 million”.Mr Francis said the governor will be sworn in at Mama Ngina Drive gardens on Tuesday next week at a ceremony “that will take no more than two hours.”The reaction of Mr Joho comes in after Nairobi Governor elect Mike Mbuvi and Kitui's Charity Ngilu who have moved to publicly reject lavish swearing-in ceremonies.“There will be no fanfare of any sort. The swearing-in will take place between 10 a.m. and midday after which people will go back to work” said Mr Thoya.Mr Mbuvi declined Sh25 million set aside for his inauguration, saying the funds should instead be channelled to paying county workers.Ms Ngilu on the other hand rejected Sh6 million meant for the event, adding that she only required a Bible at her ceremony.
