Speaking in Mombasa at Sheikh Zayed Hall in Nyali Constituency, Joho explained why Raila is the President Kenya needs.

The coastal political kingpin outlined reasons why Central and Rift Valley regions do not support Raila's for presidency.

According to Joho, the residents of these regions fear that Raila is likely to oppress them if elected president.

“You find that they don’t even have these goats and cows but are being convinced that when Raila comes to power he will take them. These people want you to remain poor,” said Joho, as quoted by Tuko.

The outspoken governor also recalled the weird reason a resident of Central Kenya gave him in relation to electing Raila as President.

“I once asked one person from Central Kenya who he will vote for. He told me he will vote for Uhuru and not Raila because Raila is a bad person. If he wins, our cows and sheep will be taken away,” he said.

Later on the governor posted on Facebook: “I got the opportunity to take them through the biased nature of Jubilee government investment policy.:

"I also got to emphasize how their fortunes and those of their children lie with Raila Amollo Odinga.”
