Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi dared the Jubilee government to rig the August 8, elections.
This follows claims by the Opposition that the incumbent government is using the National Intelligence Service (NIS), to register Ugandans and Ethiopians along the Kenyan boarders, to influence elections, outcome.
The two ODM governors warned that there will be dire consequences if Jubilee 'steals' elections.
"I dare you to steal in the upcoming elections. I dare you. Just try it and you'll see. We must form the next government,'' Joho warned Jubilee.
"If you try to steal the votes, we will deal with you firmly. This time round, we want credible elections. It is a warning,'' added Kingi.
The two were speaking when Cord leader Raila Odinga toured Kilifi for mass voter registration campaign, Tuesday.
Joho finally urged all unregistered Kilifi County residents to take full advantage of the second and final mass registration exercise, so as to vote for a just and progressive government that is responsive to the needs of all Kenyans
