Photo/ edaily.co.keKiambu Governor William Kabogo now claims that his Mombasa counterpart Hassan Joho’s agenda is to discredit President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee government for his own political gain.Kabogo claims that Joho’s frequent and malicious verbal attacks on the Jubilee administration are aimed at gaining sympathy votes.Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV’s JKL Show on Wednesday, the Kiambu governor asked Joho to stop intruding into Jubilee affairs and focus on serving Mombasa people.Kabogo said it is shameful for Joho and other opposition leaders to engage the President in public spats.“I respect the governor (Joho) but he must style up and recognize that the Presidency is a symbol of our unity and can’t be insulted,” said Kabogo during the interview.Governor Joho and President Kenyatta recently engaged in public spats with the governor being locked out of Uhuru’s Mtongwe Ferry relaunch in Likoni last week.The President accused Joho of criticizing his government and insulting him and his deputy William Ruto.Joho on the other hand accuses President Kenyatta’s administration of allegedly taking credit of the projects that were initiated by past governments.
