Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho is mourning his nephew. 

In his message of condolence, the ODM deputy party leader expressed his heartfelt condolences to his brother Hussein and his wife Sausan, saying all would be well. 

Below is Joho's message, issued, Saturday April 29, 2017: 

 

''I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved nephew Abubakar Hussein, the charming four year old boy was diagnosed with Cancer and has been undergoing treatment for the last three years. 

He put up a good fight for his life, and the Almighty has lifted the burden off his shoulders. Inna Lillaahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un. (Verily to Allah (SWT) we belong and unto Him We shall return).  

Allahumma Ajirna fi Museebatina Wakhlufna Khayran Minha  (O Allah, reward us for this tragedy and compensate us with better). 

To my brother Hussein and your wife Sausan, I ask Allah (SWT) to bless you with patience, strength, courage and peace in the face of your loss. Amin.''
