Kwale gubernatorial aspirant Chirau Mwakwere on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho at his office.Joho said they seized the opportunity to discuss the Coast geopolitical environment, especially Kwale County.Mwakwere will be banking on Joho's support as he seeks to unseat Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya who decamped from ODM to President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party.According to a source quoted by The Star, Joho assured Mwakwere of free and fair ODM Party nominations.If Mwakwere vies for the seat on an ODM ticket, he will battle it out with Kwale speaker Sammy Ruwa, Nicholas Zani, Gereza Dena, Issa Chipera and Mwachai Mwarapayo.
