Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has vowed to ensure that ODM clinches all the major political seats in the county.
Addressing journalists in Mombasa on Tuesday, Joho who is also the ODM deputy party leader, said just like the last general election where ODM clinched all the parliamentary seats except Nyali and Jomvu that were won by Wiper, he was confident that this time round no seat will be clinched by any other party.
“As a party we must ensure that we work round the clock to deliver numbers. We want the governor's position as well as the senator's and all the parliamentary seats,” said Joho.
It is believed that the Mombasa county boss is preparing ground for the 2022 general election where he has declared interest for the top job in the country.
Mombasa County is divided into six constituencies namely Mvita, Kisauni Nyali, Changamwe, Likoni and Jomvu and the women representative seat which was also won by ODM candidate Mishi Mboko.
