Former Senator Hassan Omar has asked Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to help mediate the ongoing feud between Bongo artist Diamond Platinumz and his baby mama Zari Hassan.
The former Senator lost the gubernatorial race in Mombasa to Joho in the August 8 elections.
Omar issued a message via twitter on Thursday to Governor Joho who is friends with several Tanzanian artists.
"This Zari/Diamond stuff might require some 'high level' intervention from Mombasa. Bro, its getting out of hand," the tweet read.
In the past Omar has been a strong critic of Joho over the usage of county resources which he believes could be diverted towards 'more serious matters'.
Tanzanian music artist Diamond has been caught in a love triangle between his baby mama Zari Hassan and Tanzanian model-cum-video vixen Hamisa Mobetto after it was revealed that she was pregnant with his child.
