Popularity of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho could not be the talking point among Kenyans if at least what happened in Kisii stadium is anything to go by.
In many of his political gatherings, ODM leader Raila Odinga never completes his speeches without informing his supporters about the whereabouts of the stylish governor.
And on Tuesday during NASA’s rally it wasn’t something different since locals eagerly waited for Joho to make entry to the legendary stadium.
Master of Ceremony Richard Onyonka had informed supporters that Joho was moving with the team that was led by Kalonzo Musyoka which had delayed entry to Gusii stadium.
For a moment, opposition leader Raila Odinga faced difficulties to explain the whereabouts of Joho as impatient crowd waited for him to make entry.
It took intervention of Musyoka to calm a crowd that had turned to be impatient before Odinga apologized to his supporters.
It later emerged that Joho was campaigning for NASA in the coastal region and he was busy preparing for Friday’s tour.
