ODM deputy party leader and Mombasa governor Hassan Joho has said that he will woo the Muslim community to vote for Raila Odinga during the 2017 general election.
Speaking during a fundraiser in Wajir, Joho said that he is ready to tackle the tricks Jubilee uses to lure the community to vote them to ensure that Odinga gets maximum support in 2017.
"I will campaign across the country to ensure that the Muslim community votes for Raila Odinga to win the 2017 polls, I will start from the Wajir community",
"It is our constitutional right to get development. Jubilee will not use development projects to lie to us. It is time we play politics to them and show that we can", he added.
The Mombasa governor said that he will hold meetings with Muslim leaders to ensure that the community votes for Raila in block during the next polls.
