ODM party leader Raila Odinga arrived in Ghana on Friday in preparation for the inauguration of Ghana's President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo.
Raila is accompanied by Mombasa Governor and ODM Deputy Party leader Hassan Joho.
The two leaders have been close since Raila lost the 2013 general elections in which Uhuru Kenyatta was elected President.
The opposition chief is also accompanied by his eldest daughter, Rosemary Odinga.
Rosemary is eyeing the Kibra parliamentary seat in 2017.
Shortly after arriving at the Kotoko International Airport in Accra Joho posted on is official Facebook page saying: "Just arrived at Kotoka Airport, Accra Ghana for the inauguration of President-Elect Nana Akufo-Addo on 7th January 2017."
"I accompanied my party leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga to what I expect will be the first of many inaugurations I will attend this year."
Mr Odinga is expected to take on President Uhuru Kenyatta during the August polls.
