Mombasa governor Hassan Joho is among the worst performing governors in Kenya.
This is according to a survey conducted by Poll Kenya over the first 100 days in office since inauguration this year.
In the job approval rating, Joho scored 58 per cent disapproval from Mombasa residents.
The worst governor was Homa Bay's Cyprian Awiti who scored the highest job disapproval rating of 64 per cent.
Nairobi’s Mike Mbuvi Sonko was the second worst with a disapproval rating of 61 per cent.
Joho tied in the third position with his Garissa and Siaya counterparts.
He is serving his second term in office and key among expectations from Mombasa residents is how he will handle the garbage issue in the coastal city.
