Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is now ranked as the fourth most influential Kenyan according to the latest poll survey by Ipsos Synovate.
The survey which was administered by the pollster between June 1 and June 8, 2017 across 41 out of 47 counties ranks President Uhuru Kenyatta as the most influential Kenyan.During the survey, 4,941 Kenyans were queried by the pollster.Kenyatta was flowed by NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga with Deputy President William Ruto occupying the third spot.Interestingly, Joho is more influential than NASA co-principals; Kalonzo Musyoka who is Raila Odinga’s running mate and Musalia Mudavadi.Kalonzo is ranked seventh with Mudavadi coming eighth.Others who made it into the top ten include Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko who is ranked sixth, just a spot behind First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.Former SONU chairman and aspiring Embakasi East MP Babu Owino is ranked ninth, just one position above business mogul and philanthropist Manu Chandaria.Joho’s growing influence especially in political circles can be attributed to his hardline stance towards Jubilee administration.
