Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho arrived in celebrations after his two weeks tour in Washington US, that related on security.

Supporters oof the ODM deputy party leader welcomed him home from the Moi International Airport, all way to Jomvu, Mikindani, Changamwe, and Kisauni, singing Joho-support slogans.

They criticised Joho's rivals who had claimed Joho had been interdicted to the US for alleged drug dealing, and would not return.

"They said Joho would not come back. He is here now. Enemies of Joho, what is your say now?'' said one of the supporter.

The governor had a successful rally at the Frere town grounds in Nyali Sub-County, graced by the Coastal ODM leadership and Aspirants. 

They declared they would hold a series of rallies across all Coastal Counties which would culminate with a mega rally at the Tononoka grounds on March 26, during which they would make a unified Pwani declaration.

''I would like to thank my brother and Taita Taveta County governor John Mruttu and all those that attended the rally. For the people of Kisauni and Nyali, thank you for the warm reception and continued support,'' Joho said, Sunday.

Also present was Mvita MP Abdulswammad Nassir, Mishi Mboko (Mombasa Women representative), among others.
