Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has said he will ensure that no votes cast in favour of the National Super Alliance (Nasa) flag bearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, in the August general election are rigged.
Joho said he will camp at the polling centre to guard the votes from being stolen.
“I want to tell you Kenyans, this year’s election is our life, and that is why I’m saying I (Joho) as the defender of Raila and Kalonzo, on the voting day I will sleep at the polling station, I will camp at the station, I will eat at the station, I will take bath at the station, I will drink at the station,” said Joho.
He added, “There is no vote of Raila or Kalonzo that will be stolen this time round.”
He further insisted that the presidential results will be announced at the constituency level and that will be final.
The ODM governor spoke, Saturday, during a Nasa campaign rally in Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega county.
