Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has once again maintained that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not get any votes from the Coast region.

He has termed President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto as Italian Tourists in the Coast region.

Speaking on Saturday, Joho said that despite frequent visits in the area Jubilee will not get any votes.

 “This time Uhuru and Ruto should know that when you come to Kwale you are just tourists, no different with Italians coming down here,” he said in Kinango during a NASA rally.

He further dismissed government’s plan to issue the Waitiki land for free.

"I hear they are planning to give out the Waitiki land, even if they do so, they will not get any votes from here,' he said.
