Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has vowed to provide free transport services to all primary school pupils in Mombasa if NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga forms the next government.

Speaking in Mtongwe, Likoni constituency on Monday during an ODM rally, Joho said if re-elected, his administration will complement the free education that Raila has promised to Kenyans if elected.“If Baba (Raila) wins the presidential race, I'll provide free transport services to all pupils in Mombasa to complement the free education he has promised us,” Joho said.The outspoken county chief said he will also review his milk programme in primary schools in the county and consider extending it to cover other classes as it currently only benefits pupils in lower primary.He further promised to introduce a feeding programme across all the primary schools in the county in an effort to improve the quality of education.Joho was accompanied by his running mate William Kingi and Women Rep Mishi Mboko who is gunning for the Likoni MP seat.
