Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has said that during its 10th anniversary on Saturday it will parade politicians who have defected from Jubilee.
The party's deputy party leader Hassan Joho revealed that the said defectors have in the past been strong Jubilee members who have now joined the Cord ship.
Acording to the Star, reports indicate that Kenya's ambassador to Tanzania Chirau Ali Mwakwere could be among the new members to be received by Joho and his party.
Mwakwere is said to be eyeing an ODM ticket for the Kwale gubernatorial seat after Kwale governor Salim Mvurya defected to Jubilee.
The Mombasa governor also said that former Cord leaders who had moved to other parties had lost their political strength and were merely making noise to be recognised.
“We are celebrating 10 years of existence and therefore we are within our right to host our celebration … don’t compare us with Jubilee, you are talking of a party that is yet to be launched,” Joho said.
