Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has asked police officers and county commissioners to serve the people of Kenya and not Jubilee.

Joho, ODM Deputy Leader, said that security officers and commissioners are not agents of the President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The governor spoke during NASA’s second day tour of the Coast in Mtwapa, Kilifi County on Sunday.

"I want to tell the police and county commissioners that they are not Jubilee's agents but servants of all Kenyans," he said, as quoted by The Nation.

He was accompanied by NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga, Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi.

The county boss has been at loggerheads with security officers and county commissioners led by Coastal Regional coordinator Nelson Marwa.

Raila, on his part accused the current leadership of lacking commitment to implement the Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission of Kenya (TJRC) Report.

He said that the NASA Government will ensure that the report is implemented once he takes over power after the August general elections.

“Uhuru Kenyatta brings title deeds instead of addressing the historical injustices. The implementation of the TJRC report is the solution. Nasa has the solution but Jubilee are part of the problem and cannot be the solution," he said.
