Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has been summoned by the ODM National Elections Board (NEB) over violence.Joho is among 14 ODM leaders who have been summoned to face the disciplinary committee over chaos at Orange House on Monday.The others on the list are Senators James Orengo, Anyang Nyong'o and Elizabeth Ongoro, Migori Governor Okoth Obado and MPs TJ Kajwang and Junet Mohamed.Politicians John Pesa, Ochillo Ayacko and Huruma MCA Peter Owera, county ODM chairman Philip Makabong'o, Antony Oluoch, Abel Osumba and one MCA Ochola are also expected at Orange House on Monday.NEB chairman Judy Pareno said in a statement on Friday the decision to call the politicians was made by the party's Central Committee chaired by Raila Odinga.The politicians, added Pareno, should not be accompanied by their supporters.Joho's rally in Migori County on Monday was marred by chaos.The ODM deputy party leader's bodyguard was allegedly shot and injured by another attached to Governor Obado during the aborted rally.“The party condemns the acts of violence in Migori County, Ruaraka and Mathare constituencies (and the) attack on the party's national secretariat," Pareno said as quoted by the Star.She said the Central Committee expects to receive the disciplinary committee's report by Tuesday.
