Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho should be made Cord's presidential candidate ahead of the 2017 elections.
The move will help solve the problem of who between Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, should be appointed the coalition's flag bearer.
Joho who is ODM Party's deputy leader has recently hit headlines, campaigning against Jubilee.
The Cord coalition has taken a lot of time in selecting a presidential candidate and Joho should therefore be given the opportunity while Raila, Kalonzo and Wetangula support him to clinch the top seat.
Since the governor is capable of persuading people to support ODM and Cord, he has higher chances of becoming Kenya's fifth president unlike Kalonzo and Wetangula.
Choosing the outspoken youthful governor as Cord's flag bearer will ensure the coalition gets support from the Muslim community as well as the youth, who will vote in block format.
