Mombasa County Governor Ali Hassan Joho caused a stir in Kakamega on Saturday during the NASA presidential campaign launch.

Joho’s entrance forced Odinga to halt his speech, giving Governor 001, as he is commonly referred to, time to get to the dais amid thunderous cheers from the crowd.

When he was given the chance to address the eagerly waiting crowd, Joho took a swipe at the Jubilee government for what he termed as bad leadership.

He maintained that he will not be deterred by President Kenyatta and his Deputy, and will continue criticizing them over their leadership.

“I will not give up on attending state functions in Mombasa, Uhuru can bar me from attending events but he cannot shut my mouth,” Joho stated.

He went on to urge the Western region to ensure each registered voter casts their vote in August.

“I call on each one of us to work together and vote out Uhuru and Ruto to end their looting and the suffering of Kenyans,” he said.

His address comes a few days after he was blocked off by security officers during the launch of the SGR train in Miritini.
