Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Gretsa University in Thika.

More than 1000 students graduated from the university with degrees, diplomas and certificates.

The ODM Governor however, did not attend the Wednesday event.

Joho got a Second Class honours, Lower Division.

The governor joined Gretsa University in 2014 under Distance Learning Programme.

This comes after a degree in Business Administration from Kampala University sparked controversy and was declared invalid by the Uganda National Council of Higher Education in 2014.
