The Executive Committee of County Government of Mombasa had a positive meeting with the Kenya Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (KECP) led by Frank Twagira from the World Bank Group.

They discussed expansion of the automation of County Government’s business processes to include more modules in different sectors so as to further improve service delivery to the residents of Mombasa.

With the success of the e-Single Business and Construction Permitting Systems Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho said they agreed to further expand the automation to include more services from health, lands, trade, transport and infrastructure and finance sectors.

He on Friday said this would enhance efficiency, transparency, accountability and more importantly eradication of corruption in provision of all services.

The meeting was led by Deputy Governor Dr William Kingi.
