Residents of Mombasa together with stakeholders from across the six sub-counties engaged in a constructive dialogue with CeCs and other county officials on matters pertaining development of the County as well as their welfare under the Mombasa County Dialogue 2018.
Through the forum, Governor Ali Hassan Joho said the county government was able to take stock of its performance including its achievements and challenges for the last five years as well as collect views from residents on how it can provide more and better services to them.
"Our goal is to have a more inclusive and caring Mombasa that rises to meet the needs of all it's residents including men, women, youth, children and Persons Living With Disability," said the governor on Thursday after the forum.
He further indicated that they would continue to have more dialogues to gauge the county's performance.
Joho's speech was read by Sanitation CeC Fatma Awale.
