Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has ‘revealed’ NASA’s next step once Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka are sworn in as the people’s president and deputy president.Speaking to journalists in Bamburi, Mombasa on Tuesday, the ODM Governor said that NASA will be forming a parallel government to push its reforms agenda after the planned swearing-in.The flamboyant Governor stated that the opposition’s plans are going on well, adding that Jubilee should wait for NASA’s shocker.Joho said NASA's agenda is to ensure justice and institutional reforms in the country’s electoral management systems.“Every plan is falling in place and our supporters should get ready for the big event on January 30,” he said.The county boss said it is too late for Jubilee or any other person to ask NASA to cancel the planned swearing-in ceremony.He assured supporters that Raila’s government will agitate for reforms and equality among all Kenyans.Joho asked Jubilee to prepare for Raila’s rule, which he said has the approval of millions of Kenyans.NASA has insisted on swearing in Raila as the people’s president even as the government warns against the plan.According to sources, the opposition plans to form a parallel government with individual politicians assigned various duties to spearhead the reforms agenda.Pressure, is, however, mounting on the opposition to drop the swearing in and embrace dialogue with Jubilee.US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec has held meetings with NASA top leaders with the aim of convincing them to call off the planned swearing-in ceremony.Godec wants NASA leaders to dialogue with Jubilee on the way forward in regards to the electoral reforms agenda.Is there a newsworthy accident, incident or event happening in Mombasa County that you want Hivisasa to cover?
