Speaking to journalists in Mombasa Town on Wednesday, Joho said that media reports allegedly linking him to Jubilee are false.The governor observed that false and propaganda reports are being pushed to tarnish his reputation and his role in NASA.Joho said he is fully committed to NASA and he has no links with president Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party.The Mombasa governor cautioned the media against being used to spread false speculations."I want to strongly refute certain reports in some media outlets that are linking me to Jubilee party now or in 2022," he said. Joho said he is keen to serve Mombasa locals, adding that he will not be distracted by 2022 politics and the propaganda around it.Joho also refuted claims that he has been silent on NASA activities.The governor said that he is much involved in NASA activities, saying he was on the forefront in planning for Raila's swearing-in that was called off on Sunday. He said that he is busy working on how to better the living standards of Mombasa residents.Joho is considered one of Raila Odinga's loyalists and close confidants and has been vocal in the push for Raila's presidency.There have been claims that Deputy President William Ruto and larger Jubilee Party is wooing Joho in readiness for 2022  general election.
