Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has told off President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto over his development record.

This comes after the President on Sunday accused the Governor of mismanaging the county fundsHowever, in a quick rejoinder, Joho who has always had a frosty relationship with the Jubilee administration told off the President, saying that he has done enough for the people of Mombasa.According to Joho who was addressing journalists after he was blocked by the police from attending the Mtongwe ferry relaunch, Mombasa County Government has only received Sh17 billion from the Central government. This is contrary to the President's statement on Sunday that the county has received over Sh.40 billion which the ODM deputy party leader can't account for.Joho who is seen as a key opposition political figure in the Coast region, challenged the Jubilee regime to investigate him for any financial impropriety. He further accused the current government of wedging propaganda war against him for political gain.
