Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has threatened to expose the lies told by President Uhuru Kenyatta during the much-awaited launch of MV Jambo Ferry services in Mombasa later this month.
Joho said he will not be in attendance at the launch but will hold a parallel function in Kisauni to offer replies to "the lies Uhuru will be telling Likoni residents".
"I will put my person there who will be streaming live and will be able to capture what Uhuru says," Joho said on Friday.
"They can decide whoever will attend or be blocked. But they won't see me there. I will hold a political rally in Kisauni and Mombasa will be told the truth," he added.
Joho has been blocked twice from attending public events graced by the President.
