Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has announced plans to introduce the Estonian e-Governance technology to the county.

E-Governance is a technology that aids the government in streamlining its decision-making process.In a Twitter post after a tour of the Estonian Prime Minister’s office on Friday, the county boss hailed the technology, noting that it will play a big role in enhancing service delivery and effectiveness in Mombasa upon introduction.The Governor also expressed hope that the same will aid his office in relating to the public through public participation forums.''Toured the office of the Prime Minister of Estonia. The cabinet of Estonia is the first to implement e-Cabinet work ethic which the Government uses to streamline its decision-making process. The system is a multi-user database that keeps relevant information updated in real time,'' said Joho.''Looking forward to implementing e-Governance in the County Government of Mombasa to further improve efficiency in service delivery and enhance effectiveness and reach of public participation platforms,'' he added.The ODM deputy party leader traveled to Northern Europe country on Thursday, March 1.The trip is aimed at strengthening ties between the people of Estonian and their Mombasa counterparts.
