Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has volunteered to lead a team of politicians in traversing the country to market the ODM party.
The tour according to Joho will also seek to convince Kenyans to support ODM party leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid in 2017.
Joho, who spoke in Mombasa on Friday night at a dinner organised ahead of celebrations to mark ODM's ten years of existence exuded confidence the opposition will clinch victory in the 2017 general elections.
"Let's not fear," he said.
"We will deliver the presidency in 2017. I intend to traverse the entire country myself."
Mr Odinga was chief guest at the dinner held in his honour as ODM party leader.
"I want to identify friends like Abdikadir Aden, Aden Keynan, Junet Muhamed, Rashid Benzimba, Abdulswamad Nasir and other leaders," the governor said in reference to the MPs who were present at the event.
"We will tour the entire country to market ODM and the presidency of Raila Amollo Odinga."
Joho has remained one of the most loyal politicians to ODM.
During Mr Odinga's recent tour of the Coast, he assured the opposition chief he would martial support for him ahead of the fourth coming general elections.
Joho is among governors expected to easily sail through in defending their seats in 2017.
