After recording statement with CID officers in Mombasa, Governor Hassan Joho is expected to hold a major rally in Kibra-Nairobi on Thursday.

The embattled governor is facing forgery allegations in which he is believed to have fraudulently acquired his secondary school certificate.

And on Tuesday, Joho, who also deputizes opposition leader Raila Odinga in ODM party, admitted having scored a D- grade in his 1993 KCSE exams.

Yet again after holding a mega rally on Sunday at Tononoka, the firebrand Governor said he will take his war with President Uhuru Kenyatta  ‘near’ his home.

“I do not fear Uhuru and he should know that. I only fear God,” Joho told a charged crowd moments after recording a statement.

He added: “I will take campaigns to his door step in Kibra tomorrow (Thursday). It is important for him to take all the energy targeting me in fight against corruption and improving living standards of ordinary people.”

In the recent months, Joho has been embroiled in public outburst with Kenyatta and at some point the state withdrew his security.

But despite his deteriorating relationship with Jubilee administration however, Mr. Joho has maintained that he solidly remains in opposition.
