Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, has unveiled the 46-foot iconic crocodile statue along Links Road, named 'Big Daddy'.
The statue was restored by the County government of Mombasa after it was moved from its original site during expansion of Links Road.
Accompanied Jomvu MP Twalib, over the weekend, Joho officially opened the newly expanded Links Road in Nyali Sub-county.
''The county government of Mombasa through the Department of Transport and Infrastructure has expanded the road from 2 to 4 lanes to facilitate smooth traffic flow and also paved foot paths for pedestrian traffic to enhance safety for all road users,'' Joho said.
