Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho verified his voter registration status at Uwanja wa Mbuzi in Kongowea, Nyali Sub-County.
His details were correctly stored in the voters register, even as cases of voters sharing ID card numbers, rise.
Flanked by various local leaders, they reminded Mombasa residents why there was no future for Kenyans with the current Jubilee administration.
"I pray, that in this critical election, and at this important time, that the almighty God grant us wisdom and favour. That when coming generations shall look back, they shall thank us for doing right in this defining time,'' Joho said, Friday.
He urged all persons aged 18-years and above to ensure they have Identity Card or Passport to register as a voter.
"We have only 26 days left for you to ensure that you have in your possession the legal tools that you will need to evict this failed Jubilee administration in August 8th 2017,'' added the ODM deputy governor.
